State Executive Meets To Review Reports of LGA Coordinators On How to Sensitise People To Enrol for Voter Card Exercise
- Congratulates Governor Uzodimma for uniting APC South-East
2025 has been a very busy year for the leadership of the Noble Grassroots for Hope Uzodimma, the second most accessible and populated grassroots political support structure after “Camp Hope,” commissioned to mobilize support for our God-Sent Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.
This is solely because it is a well-organized structure with leadership from the polling units to the state and religious to her programs, all aimed at promoting the state and the good governance of the “Awarding Winning Governor.”
After a busy electioneering period of 2023-2024, Noble Grassroots participated actively in delivering our Governor and our Chairmen and Councilors, respectively.
Her programs, this time, shifted to updating other properties needed for civic engagement and political participation.
In a meeting of the State Executive of Noble Grassroot For Hope held on Saturday, May 2, 2025, presided over by the State Vice President, Rt Hon. Protus Duru, the report of the 27 LGA coordinators was reviewed with an agenda like the upcoming Statewide Summit, and the voter’s card enrolment exercise dominated the discussion of the meeting.
In his remarks, Hon. Protus Duru appreciated the presence of the State Executive for being steadfast in the program and progress of NGH. He equally thanked the LGA coordinators for their commitment to ensuring that the grassroots communities are engaged and attend the program en masse.
Importantly, he heaped support on the comprehensive reports of the coordinators in their unanimous resolution to support the upcoming Statewide Leadership Summit and the recommendation that this noble family should prepare to undertake the upcoming voter’s card enrolment exercise commencing in June as announced by the Commission, the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Furthermore, the State Woman Mobiliser, Hon. Chiaka Chikwe (Igolo Municipal), gave an update on the readiness of Noble Grassroots Women to attend the summit. She noted with a sense of certainty and assurance that the women are ready to go as well as supporting other programs of the association.
Igolo, in her affectionate mannerisms, sent her greetings of “Oneness for a better tomorrow”, a slogan that sits well and resonates with members of the family.
Igolo encouraged members to continue in their support of the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Infrastructural Governor of the Year,2024,
Noting also that the harvest time must surely come to pass
Hon. Ijele Odoemenam, the Orlu Zone Coordinator and the State Media Director gave an update about the upcoming ‘Call-in Radio Programme’ aimed at appreciating the Governor for his recent award from the Vanguard Newspaper and educating Imolites on the political economy of the infrastructural projects of the Governor spread across the three Senatorial zones.
Ijele Njaba, as he is fondly called by admirers, commended the LGA coordinators for their report and for keeping tabs on the program and agenda of NGH.
The reviews concluded on the acknowledgment of the reports of the LGA coordinators in mobilizing for voter card sensitization and the enrolment exercise and other concerns raised for the Statewide Summit.
Other members of the State Executive included the Secretary of the Noble family, Hon. Victor Ekeocha; Hon. Soronnadi Justice; Hon. Chidi Obi, among others.
At the end of the reviews, the house unanimously gave thumbs up to the vantage and vibrant leadership of Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Chairman of the South-East APC Governors’ Forum family, in upholding the partisanship ideals of the APC and uniting the party into a stronger and viable party to the fancy of defectors.
Noble Grassroot For Hope acknowledged the challenges the party had before now in marketing APC to people in the East, which seemed to be an “Augean Stable”, but today, the APC is now the most beautiful and adorned bride, courtesy of a purposeful and people-orientated leadership of the Chairman of the APC Governors’Forum and his federating tentacles in driving the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to Nigerians.
Recall that Governor Hope Uzodimma had last week, led the Southeast APC “Consultative Leadership Meeting” held in Enugu to discuss the unity of the party in the state and making APC a dominant party ahead of the 2027 elections so that the Igbo community will be fully integrated into mainstream national politics rather than being discussed at the fringes.
Among the prominent leaders from the zone who attended were Imo State Governor and APC Governors’ Forum Chairman Senator Hope Uzodimma; Rt Hon. Francis Nwifuru, Ebonyi State Governor; Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Chief Benjamin Kalu; former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim; Senator Orji Uzor Kalu; and Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology Chief Uche Nnaji.
