May I, on behalf of the Secretariat and 27 Local Government Coordinators, 305 INEC Ward Coordinators, and 4,758 Booths in Imo State, proudly commend Senator Ndubueze for his visionary leadership and legislative focus in achieving these trademark feats through the signing of this bill by Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
By this uncommon dedication and result-driven spirit, you have inked your name as a lawmaker who remains committed to the progress of Imo North and the advancement of education in Nigeria.
This milestone marks a new chapter for education and development in Okigwe and the entire Imo North if the university commences learning; hence, it is a victory not just for Okigwe but for future generations.
We also extend our sincere commendation to His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma, a leader committed to strong legacies that outlive the moment, for his unwavering support and instrumental role in facilitating this historic achievement.
We are not poor students of history to forget that some governors delight in fighting lawmakers in their states, even in the same party, but Imo State is fortunate to have a God-sent governor who is moved by futuristic appeals over grass materialism in helping lawmakers in his state, irrespective of political inclination, to succeed developmentally.
A brighter future begins with bold leadership and visionary action. This is one of them!
Together, we move the Okigwe Zone forward! And Imo will be better for it!
