The leadership of the Fresh Air Movement, Imo State, has commended the governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, towards the 2024 LGA elections in the state, as well as congratulating her members who emerged in their respective positions.
Reacting to this development, the Director-General of Fresh Air Movement, Hon. John Mbonu Uchenwoke-Ekperechi, noted that the Governor has always shown the capacity and leadership to discharge his duties. There is no doubt about his preparedness to lead the party to victories on Saturday.
Hon. Chief Osita Onuoha, Fresh Air Movement Deputy President, praised Uzodimma for his statement role in ensuring that aspirants who did not emerge were refunded, and he is doing it. He wished all Fresh Air candidates in the elections well.
The House member of Onuimo Local Government Area Imo State and the President of Fresh Air Movement, Hon. Chief (Dr.) James Uba Esile, extolled the performing governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Executive Governor of Imo State, for the success of the party primaries elections and his excellent and transformational leadership since he became the governor.
The Onuimo Lawmaker gave this release during the climax of the All Progressive Congress’s (APC) 2024 Local Government Elections campaign rally held at Heroes Square’s, Owerri, Imo State Capital. The crowd-pulling rally was a massive success and received APC stalwarts within and outside the state with Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the Party, and His Excellency, Biodun Oyebanji, the Governor of Ekiti State.
The Fresh Air Movement, Imo State, was elated at seeing the jubilant crowd renting the venue with songs and dancing with supporters, especially some of his constituents who emerged in their various positions and wards.
“What you are witnessing here is the legacy of selfless leadership, quality friendship, and visionary overtures. Our God-sent governor has, as usual, depicted his classic personality. He has shown Ndi-Imo his quintessential credentials in governance as a detribalized Nigerian and the true definition of a democrat.
Under his watch, Imo State has transformed into the center of investors, a tourist destination, and a political bride for other states to associate with for collective state advancement and Nigeria at large.
“The Governor has remarkably transformed Imo State from the shackles of unproductive venture to a productive and creative state, economically viable, politically stable, and environmentally secure.
His first tenure in office was positively decorated and unprecedented in quality public infrastructure development, social mobility, healthcare delivery, electricity supply, and, above all, media-friendly with journalists.
“Permit to say that Senator Hope Uzodimma is the best thing that happened to Imo State, the south-southeast, and the people at the lower Niger. He has not only provided leadership but has craved for one and has put his best into the geopolitics of development and friendship.
As the Chairman of the Southeast Governor Forum, he has initiated a series of regional programs, economic development, and political. And as a strong member of the Southern Governor’s Forum, his valued contribution is always felt, and as the Chairman of the Progressive Governor Forum, in the words of Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, “Since Hope is here, we have hope; Nigeria is firmly in strong alliance with Hope and Renewed Hope.”.
“On Saturday, 21st of September, the Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC) shall be conducting local government elections. This is after years of no proper LGA administration due to the lack of duly elected Council Chairmen and Ward Councillors who shall perform their constitutional rights as enshrined in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended to provide leadership at the Third Tier of government to the people of Nigeria.
“As a listing governor and someone who believes in the rule of law, he saw the overwhelming importance of empowering governance at the grassroots, deepening political participation, and recreating wealth. That is why he queued into the government of the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of Mr. President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and you can agree with me that Imo State is hopeful and hospitable.
We must also give it to the governor in the area of empathy. Are you aware that you promised to return the monies paid for the expression and nomination forms of all chairmanship and councillorship aspirants who did not emerge and have started receiving checks? Which governor or party has done this in this state?
The Imo State House Committee on Culture, Tourism, and Creative Arts equally facilitates with the members of the Fresh Air Movement, Imo State, who emerge at their different LGAs and Wards and shall be standing in for elections on Saturday, September 21st, 2024.

“To all our members who have emerged Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Councillors, congratulations, and I wish you a landslide victory in the elections,” Exile said.
