Congratulate Senator Patrick Ndubueze on the Signing of the Okigwe Federal University Bill into Law

The Fresh Air Movement Imo, a grassroots sociopolitical initiative founded by Hon. Chief James Uba Esile, Member Representing Onuimo in the Imo State House of Assembly, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Distinguished Senator Patrick Ndubueze on the successful passage and presidential assent to the Okigwe Federal University Establishment Bill.
In a statement issued by Comrade Chikwem Simon, Coordinator of the Onuimo L.G.A. Chapter of the Movement, the group applauds Senator Ndubueze’s visionary leadership and focused commitment to educational advancement and regional development.
“This feat is a historic achievement not only for Okigwe but for all of Imo North. By your dedication and legislative precision, Senator Ndubueze, you have inscribed your name in the annals of history as a lawmaker committed to shaping a brighter future through education,” Simon stated.
The Movement also acknowledged the pivotal role of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for signing the bill into law, as well as the steadfast support of His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma, who has remained a stabilizing force and developmental partner in Imo State.
“We are not unmindful of your great support to lawmakers in your state. Instead of burning bridges, like some governors and leaders do, you chose to win them over to yourself to work together for development. However, Governor Uzodimma continues to demonstrate political maturity and foresight by fostering an environment where development transcends partisanship,” the statement noted.
The establishment of a federal university in Okigwe to be sited in Onuimo is expected to catalyze educational opportunities, socio-economic growth, and generational transformation for Imo North and beyond.
“A brighter future begins with audacious leadership and forward-thinking action. The signing of this bill is a crystal pathway and examples of what can be achieved when purpose meets collaboration,” Simon added.
Fresh Air Movement Onuimo, reiterates its commitment to supporting futuristic and development-driven leaders who foster initiatives that uplift the people of Onuimo, Okigwe Zone, and Imo State at large.
