The process of advocating for wider participation of Agwa songs and daughters in Agwa Central Union (ACU) meeting in their respective abodes, took another turn as the Chief Superintendent of the Nigerian Police Force, CSP, Cajetan Onwusor, attended the monthly meeting of AGWA YOUTHS, in Aba, Abia State last weekend. The enthusiastic body, led by Comrade Polycarp Okorie, went into a nostalgic atmosphere as they cited the presence of the National Auditor-General of ACU in their midst unannounced. In his remarks, CSP Onwusor commended their efforts in coming together to form this association for communal interest and members’ welfare. As an ambassador of good conscience, Onwusor did not waste time admonishing them about joining the ACU Aba Branch. ” I am very happy to be in your midst this time. More especially, in the peaceful manner in which you are conducting yourself. I want to tell you that Agwa has been making appreciable efforts since the inauguration of ACU led by Barr. Benson C. Akunya, which yours truly, is the National Auditor-General. Building a united and peaceful society is a collective effort and Agwa will not develop without you and I doing our little bid. I’m inviting you all here to join the ACU Aba Branch, led by Apostle Israel Oparaji alongside your wives.” Believe me your nonmembership of ACU is having adverse effects on the union, hence my plea to all of you and others as you may relate to them to come and join ACU, Aba Branch.”, Onwusor concludes. Comrade Polycarp Okorie, the President, on behalf of the Agwa Youth Aba Branch, thanked the August visitor, CSP, Onwusor, who is also, their Patron, as he assured Onwusor that they are going to respect his call to join ACU Aba Branch. The event was very colorful with a lot of refreshments.
