
.Imo State House of Assembly Passes Vote of Confidence on President Tinubu, Endorses Him for Second Term
Owerri, Imo State – In a historic session held at the Imo State House of Assembly, lawmakers unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while officially endorsing him for a second term in office.
The motion for endorsement was moved by the Deputy Speaker of the House Rt. Hon. Chyna Amara Anayanwu, member, representing Nwangele State Constituency and seconded by the Minority Leader, Hon. Prince Udochukwu Amuchi, representing Aboh Mbaise State Constituency, marking a rare show of bipartisan support within the chamber.
This significant declaration took place during a Statewide Broadcast Address by the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, who commended the Assembly’s decision as a bold step towards national unity and continuity in leadership.
Lawmakers praised President Tinubu for his “visionary leadership, commitment to economic reforms, and steadfast dedication to the unity and progress of Nigeria.”
