Yesterday, the 2nd of June, 2024, ACU grew in the number of its branches as Agwa Central Union Enugu Branch started formally. The maiden meeting was attended by over 22 Agwa sons and daughters with 4 others officially taking excuses due to work and other official engagements. Members present were excited and pledged their commitment to the growth of the branch, the welfare of one another, and the development of Agwa. Critical guiding principles/standard operational protocols at this formation stage were extensively discussed and ratified. In the interim Chikwe Goddey C. PhD, was appointed the Coordinating Chairman while Apostle Ebere Magnus Igweoji was appointed the Secretary. In their acceptance speech, the interim leaders pledged to commit their time, talent, and treasure to the growth of the branch, they solicited the cooperation and unflinching support of the members. It was resolved also at the meeting that the branch shall at all times align with the ideologies of the global Agwa Central Union while supporting her programs and projects within their available resources. Prominent Agwa sons who took turns to speak at the maiden meeting include; Mr. Alozie Marcel, Bishop Martin Eze, Chief Austin Igweoji, Mr. Theodore, Mr. Nestor, and Engr. Chikwe Ikessinelu and a host of others. To God be all the glory! The formal commencement was marked with elaborate entertainment and proved to be a great moment of history. We encourage Agwa sons and daughters across the country to follow suit and establish Agwa Central Union (ACU) in their respective States of residence. Agwa Must Be Better in Our Time
