Owerri Branch in Life-Support, As Lagos Branch Regains Strength It is no longer news that the ACU Owerri branch is not showing any sign of recovery from poor membership attendance which has had a great adverse effect on the development of the branch. This is as several calls were made for Agwa sons and daughters of taxable age who reside in Owerri and Imo State to identify and join in building the Agwa of peace unity and development buttressing the ACU slogan “Agwa Must Be Better in Our Time.” Last week Sunday, ACU Owerri Branch held its monthly meeting at Prof. Godfrey Ahaoma Alozie-Obodo Orogwe-Irete House, Owerri-West LGA, Imo State. Inside Agwa gathered that those who attended the meeting were the Branch Secretary Mr. Churchill and Deacon Nkemjika Agbee who is holding brief for the Chairman, Prof G. Obodo.Meanwhile, in Lagos State, the branch meeting was held amid poor turnout. “The Vice-President of the branch, Mr. Joshua Asagwara, expressed worries that though, given the number of Agwa people who reside in Lagos, the ACU Lagos ought to record not less than 100 attendance per meeting.Mr. Asagwara, however, thanked those who came to continue coming and as well, encouraged others to come and join in the progress, development, and peace of Agwa”, Asagwara said. Those in attendance are:Okay.1. Mr. Chikaobi Ozuruoha2. Dr. Madufor (Treasurer)3. Mr. Levi Obi4. Mr. Polycarp Igbo5. Mr. Nestor6. Mr. Iyke Oparaoha7. Mr. Godspower Onwuzugha ( Secretary)
