EMEKA EBOH CELEBRATES 40TH BIRTHDAY IN GRAND STYLE.

The 40th birthday of Hon. Chris Emeka Eboh, MBA, may have come and gone, but the memories and historical dots it leaves on go beyond the razzmatazz of now.
June 15, 2025, marked an iconic, momentous 40th birthday celebration of Hon. Chris Emeka Eboh, MBA.
The birthday event, which was held at Delicious Treat, Aladinma, Owerri, had friends and well-wishers converge to celebrate this milestone with him. The event was ably chaired by the Executive Chairman and Mayor of Isuikwuato Local Government Area, Abia State, Hon. Chinedu Ekeke, while Hon. Dr James Esile, Member Representing Onuimo State Constituency, was the Special Guest of Honour.
In his remarks, Hon. Ekeke described the celebrant as a true friend, a cerebral individual with a strong work ethic. He narrated how he came in contact with the celebrant while at the university and grew fond of him as a result of his mastery of the English language. He described him as a friend turned brother.
“If you minus 21 years from 40 years, how many years are left?” he questioned.
I have known Emeka as a boy and have seen him grow into a man. I am very happy with how far God has led him and, importantly, how he has carried himself in this major transitory odyssey in the path of honour.
“With the personalities that have come from far and near to celebrate with Emeka and his family on this special birthday, I have no doubt in me that he has created a quality circle. I, therefore, wish him every good thing that life has to offer,” Ekeke concluded.
In his speech, the special guest of honor, Hon. Chief Dr. James Uba Esile (Fresh Air), who was accompanied by Hon. Emma Orie, a former member of IMHA, who represented Ohaji-Egbema State Constituency, eulogized the celebrant, describing him as a man of character and a dependable ally. He traced his endearing personality to his father, who was a former member of the Imo State House of Assembly.
Continuing, Esile emphasised the need for building long-lasting friendships as a true test of a reliable and consistent person.
Hon. Esile, who recently inaugurated a truck driving training programme, one of its kind, for the teeming youths of Onuimo LGA, harped on human capital development through networking with like minds and sharing and exchanging valuable information and ideas.
“The number 40 biblically represents symbolic years of testing, trial, and transformation (TTT). This epochal record suffices.
The 40th birthday anniversary is greatly celebrated all over the world; it is a major life marker. It marks the end of youth and the beginning of a new page of life filled with self-examination.
“Age 40 is often a more stable and self-assured chapter in life. It’s a time when many people have established careers, families, or life paths and, above all, endeavored to stay real with their decisions,” Esile remarked.
Hon. Emeka Mereni, Secretary to Okigwe LGA, who represented the Executive Chairman of Okigwe LGA, Hon. Nkechi Mbonu, conveyed warm messages of congratulations from his boss and wished the celebrant the best ahead.
Other dignitaries who spoke at the event were Rt Hon Andy Maduako, Leader of the Onuimo Legislative Council; Hon. Emeka Udeh, Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman of Okigwe L.G.A.; Amb. Michael Kwemma; and Hon. John Mbonu Uchenwoke-Ekperechi, the Director-General of Fresh Air Movement, Imo State, and Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Inside Agwa Newspaper.
His childhood friends and schoolmates also graced the event and took turns to eulogize the celebrants, notably Engr Frank Onyia, Mr. Chibuzor Awah, and Engr Chidi Echere.
Delivering his vote of thanks, Hon. Chris Emeka Eboh, who was visibly elated as he cruised with his “better half,” Mrs. Ezinne Eboh, and his handsome son, Master Somtochukwu, thanked the guests for honoring his invitation.
The highlight of the event was the toast and cutting of the cake. The event went on till night with photographs, jokes, banters, drinking, and dancing by the celebrant and friends.
