May I, on behalf of myself, my family, esteemed supporters, and the management of Inside Agwa Newspaper, joyfully congratulate Lady Dorathy Utazi, Ph.D., on your appointment as one of the twenty-four permanent secretaries recently appointed by the Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, GSSRS, in the Imo State Civil Service.
This appointment, without any verbosity, is well-deserved considering your contribution to the commission.
My experience working with you on several committees is well-savoured.
As an unrepentant educationist and being a strong supporter of Inside Agwa News, and a guest speaker in some of the weekend digest programmes on the “Education of the Girl Child,” where you give useful insight on how the government can turn around the education of the girl child, especially rural basic formal education.
In Agwa, you are one of the women whose voices weren’t swallowed. Your leadership style is communal, egalitarian, preparative, and democratic. Being the National Woman Leader of the Agwa Central Union and heading other women’s confederacies, all of these have come with a penchant for trademark accountability, prudential resource management, transparency, and the passion to serve and achieve results.
Suffice it to say, you are a utilitarian. You will do more in your new position.
